An exercise in fusion
Blend Restaurant makes a case for fusion in all aspects of its dining experience. When it came time for me to conceptualize an idea for a brochure geared towards boutique hotels, cruises, and other luxury platforms, it was clear from the beginning that this fusion theme must be captured in the final piece. By comparing the restaurant’s culinary adventures with its eclectic interior design —the staggering variety of textures and interesting surfaces featured throughout the dining experience— and making use of contrasting typographic treatments, I designed a piece that both highlights the restaurant’s culinary strengths and is reminiscent of the Blend dining experience.
